Roopgadh Fort is a perfect weekend getaway beginners level Trek for those who live in nearby cities. The terrain consists of steep ascend from thick vegetation and open narrow ridges near top. The view is breathtaking from top. During the trek one can find beautiful flowers in jungle and some rare trees as well. There is very little left of Fort but some part of wall, water reservoir and ancient temple are still intact. Visit this place for trek and not for fort. Start early if you do not wish to spend a night on top otherwise start around 4:00pm for night stay. Must carry your own water and food as nothing is available on top except nature and view. Park your vehicle at your own risk near a small temple on road from Bhenskatri to Bardi Pada and start your trek from there.

Located in purna wildlife sanctuary. Follow map till the last point where you need to park your vehicle. From there, it will take one hour to reach water pond at hill top. First half an hour is a medium difficult track. Take good pairs of sport shoes and carry stick for support. Keep water atleast one liter per person and start with light stomach. View at top is mesmerizing. Only visit in monsoon or just after monsoon.... Road till the last point is very good and dense green. We went there through Bardoli and Vyara and could spot lot of beautiful rice farms.
