Just love this place.. Moderate level but windy. I heard from local villagers that when sunset and clear weather you actually see the arebian sea from top of mountain. You can see all trimbak mountain range.
Good wind
waghera fort is not much visited fort, few big houses now completly destroyed facing harihar and trambakgad are there indicates it has good importance in past, on top of the fort one small shiv temple is there this is the only visible structure presence on fort, on left side of fort there is water cisterns but its now full with soil, difficult to locate, level of clibing is difficult in last part as we have to climb steep rock patch around 10 feet high be careful at this part, there is absolute no trees on fort so resting in summer is almost impossible avoid summer, winter is best to visit, no water avsilable on fort and if available i don't recommend to drink, stay hydrated, you can reach here from trambak to vaghera also via girnare to waghera choose root as you feel comfortable. this fort fall in hands of britishers after 1818 he destroyed almost all visible structure on fort as maratha army can't use it again not only this fort but he did this to all forts in this region so thats why we cant see any structure in good condition on any forts of this region. thats it one request our forts are not picnic spots, dont throw garbage on fort keep our forts clean thank you, jai shri ram, jai chatrapati shri shivaji maharaj.
