Didn't have a pleasant experience at the place. Reasons - the design of the place is very open and outdoors, there is no roof for the space shared between living broom and kitchen which opens up issues of safety since the property is located in a rather wild surrounding. Main door has no lock Mattress was uneven and not comfortable Place was dusty Not suitable for families. People who do not mind such details maybe can give it back try When the owner was made known of our concerns he took it badly and spoke unprofessionally .which is not the way to be in the hospitality sector Saving grace for the place was the view from the property and food. 5 of us were charged 2.5k each for food and very very basic and minimal amenities

Magadi......to me is a piece of paradise on earth. The views of the lake, from an elevation, and from every part of the house are absolutely spectacular. You could spend hours just sitting on an armchair gazing out onto the lake. Watching the sun's reflection on the water, gave me the peace and tranquility, that I so needed, away from the cities where your mind is crowded with activities and your eyes - with crowds of bustling people. The house is architecturally unusual. It is soothing for the eyes as it uses natural stone which blends into the topography of the area. I loved too, how the natural elements of blue sky up above are brought into your living area, seamlessly. The dining room is in an enclosed courtyard but open to the sky - so is the bathroom with the sky forming the ceiling. Magadi is surrounded with little hills. The climb up to any one of them, gives you a panaromic 360 degree view of the undulating hills, valleys and lake. The view, in every direction that your eyes direct you too, is unique. I loved the fact that Magadi is an all-year-round place, being on the equatorial belt. I live in Australia but when I think of India and the place I would like to go back to, in order to recuperate in spirit and in body - it is to Magadi. Anne Kaushal, Canberra, Australia

This house is a great place for making memories, and getting to relive them. It is located away from the bustle of the city, on a gentle hill in the countryside. The surroundings are serene and beautiful. The view of the lake is lovely. Hills all around lend a shape to the horizon. Sunrises and sunsets are wonderful to enjoy on the lovely property. The design of the house is very special. The outer walls frame a space that has enclosed rooms and an open-to-the-sky courtyard. It lets in the outdoors, while still feeling secure, cozy and intimate. There is a large, comfortable living space, with a huge french window that opens to step outside. Two spacious bedrooms, one with a bathroom attached. The other bathroom is just unique! Enclosed and private, but partially open to the sky! A neat dining area, and a kitchen. And of course the little garden, yes, a small lawn and flowering plants, inside the walls! I've seen sunbirds visiting the flowers a few feet away while sitting in the living room. Around the house are trails and fields to explore, and hills to climb. Walk down to the lake, or scramble up some of the rock formations on the slopes. Or just sit and take in the views and listen to all the sounds of nature. The skies are dark enough at night for a spectacular vista of stars. Spend a few days here, and you'll go home recharged, dreaming of the next time you can come back to this magical place!
