It is very difficult to trekk this place as path is slippary and lots of reptiles on your way.. But at the end it's a wonderful experience

100 km from Pune. Simple trek. But isolated. So go in group only. Carry food n water.
Untouched, very less to no crowd. No shade or water source available. Take your food and water (2ltr) with you. Initial patch of traverse is tricky, there are chances of landslide. Rest trail in awesome. There is some space near the start of the trail where you can park your bike.
Small but exhilarating 1 day trek which takes usually an hour of careful hike. It’s not much of a climb. Amazing views all around. Do carry lots of water as natural water source is unavailable. Connected by ST buses on the Pune - Mahad route at Varandha Ghat, the road from Bhor to Varandha is pretty bad and full of potholes and twisties taking upto 3 hours of drive by car. Park your car at Hotel Swapnil just before the ghat and pack some snacks from them. Then walk down a kilometre to the starting point of the trek. After finishing the trek be sure to try the Pithla Bhakri at Hotel Swapnil. They have ample parking space and washroom to change.
Most amazing view of varandhwa ghat, which connected pune and kokan, kavlya Fort had is situated on border line of pune and raigad district. 100 km from pune, even enjoying the bike ride while varandhwa Ghat. Mostly used for keep watching on enemies. Shivthar Ghal also visit during the day. Easy trek to climb. There are very less crowd. You can see Mohangad, Lingana and Raigad in a single view.

Varandha ghat is the highest passes of Maharashtra which connects Puna district to kokan areas. Kavlyagad is located at the edge of the diversion point and can clearly seen. It is a must visit place for those who like to go for a peaceful trek. There are very less crowd. Super trek....easy and beautiful
