Good place to visit here.
This anonymous tomb stands on a high square plinth which had chhatris at the corners, as are there in the tomb of Shershah at Sasaram (C 1545 A.D.) The main tomb is essentially square, but its angles have been chamfered to give it an octagonal appearance. This is the “Baghdadi-Muthamman” (Octagonalised Square) plan which was popularly used by the Mughals (1560- 1658). The interior is composed of a central octagonal hall, four octagonal rooms at the corners and oblong arcaded dalans on the sides, all interconnected by passages.
I am giving 3 stars to Lodhi Tom because the army is a small Tom and there are many doors inside it to move from here to there.
No maintenance, people have made it picnic spot or drunkard and smokers roam here. Need serious maintenance and repair from archaeological and responsible departments
Very nice...beautifully carved...the emperor's resting place was truly magnificent.
Well maintained, one part ruined. It is in octagonal shape. More Lodhi tombs one in Delhi of Sikendar Lodhi another in Panipat of Ibrahim Lodhi. At Agra it is not confirmed information\u200b who's this.
