What did you see when Alappuzha came and did not see the backwaters? Now you do not need to spend much money to see the backwaters, now you can spend 2 to 3 hours of backwaters for only 120 rupees and have a wonderful view of the backwaters. It is a government passenger boat

This is a nice experience with vega boats having a ferry distance of 45kms in just 400rs non-ac and 600rs ac! Good lunch as low as 100-150rs. You can stand in the front and completely enjoy Alleppey back waters with multiple halts in between. Cheapest way to explore Alapuzha and highly recommended!! However weekend booking will fill as early as a month before. So plan early..
