Place is historic named after Godess Khodiyar Ma. I was surprised to see Khadi (Man Made Cotton Cloths) Gram Udhyog (Industry) retail outlet at this small village. The men made cotton production initiated by Mahatma Gandhi as a protest against British Rules for textiles in India. The village (Dhari) is now one of the most developing village by Swaminayan Community.
