One of d best Party plots of Amritsar..the Garden space is big...I love gardens..A garden is a planned space, usually outdoors, set aside for the display, cultivation, or enjoyment of plants and other forms of nature. The garden can incorporate both natural and man-made materials. The most common form today is known as a residential garden, but the term garden has traditionally been a more general one. Zoos, which display wild animals in simulated natural habitats, were formerly called zoological gardens.[1][2]Western gardens are almost universally based on plants, with garden often signifying a shortened form of botanical garden. Some traditional types of eastern gardens, such as Zen gardens, use plants sparsely or not at all. Gardens may exhibit structural enhancements, sometimes called follies, including water features such as fountains, ponds (with or without fish), waterfalls or creeks, dry creek beds, statuary, arbors, trellises and more. Some gardens are for ornamental purposes only, while some gardens also produce food crops, sometimes in separate areas, or sometimes intermixed with the ornamental plants. Food-producing gardens are distinguished from farms by their smaller scale, more labor-intensive methods, and their purpose (enjoyment of a hobby or self-sustenance rather than producing for sale). Flower gardens combine plants of different heights, colors, textures, and fragrances to create interest and delight the senses.

The garden. Which garden do I mean? Do I mean that your life is garden of desires, and you plant wishes in it, so one day it will manifest pretty things? No. I mean the garden from which we all fall. The garden to which we all belong. The garden from which we are all in exile and longing to return home. That is the deepest and truest "need" that any of us really have, you know. Go ahead and just examine it in your own life for a moment. When you are with the people you love most, when you have let everything go, when there is just the sand and the sea and the sky, where are you? What happens? Just for a moment, you are at home again. In this strange and lonely universe. You have come home to the garden from which you have been exiled. And then everything feels right, just, whole, true.
