Our mission is to help people with disabilities become self-sustaining and employable. Act to Rise for Innovation in Special Education (ARISE) Impact is a non-profit organization, enabling self-learning for the differently-abled. Since 2010, we have been developing and disseminating self- learning content, games and apps for differently- abled students. Our founder, Abhishek Syal, invented a multi-patent pending map and diagram reader for the visually challenged children in India. While working on his research from 2006- 2010, he realized that his work was enabling self-learning for the visually challenged children. This motivated him and the founding team to launch a non-profit platform to create, develop and disseminate self-educational resources for these children. Thus began the development of Special Education Modules (SEMs) for the visually challenged. Our visions of innovative technology transformed into a mission to make a difference. We are committed to transforming the learning process of visually challenged children through our innovative technology, resources and aids. We strive to instil confidence, spark interest, impact learning and empower the differently-abled. Following the tremendous success of the SEMs that transformed the lives of over 1,500 individuals, ARISE Impact is now focusing on developing and disseminating technology that will have direct impacts on employability outcomes among the visually impaired.
