Amazing wooden cottage surrounded by greenish landscape. The stay was awesome, the property is really well maintained, the rooms were clean and sanitised well. The food was really tasty and amazing. Would certainly love to go back here and would recommend this place to others looking for a getaway. Left the place with wonderful memories. Thankyou Arjun for your amazing hospitality!

Best place to stay with family/friends in Kodaikanal. Woodhouse is very neat and clean, also peaceful and nice ambience. Amazing views from the room including lake. Homemade food are delicious. It is in excellent location just a 10 minutes’ walk to the lake. You can have fun like Bonfire, Barbeque and so many more Overall it’s a great place to stay, definitely recommended If you are looking for safe, peaceful place to spend your time, then definitely you should think about Avantara

Speaking of a tourist place which is perennial, it is very very rare to find a place so peaceful and off-beat as this. Solo travelers like me depend on the kindness of random people, and I must say these people were the kindest. They were never money oriented, they even packed dinner for me when I was leaving by evening. The wood house I stayed is one of the best places i had ever been. More than everything, it was a peaceful stay. If I ever have chance to revisit Kodaikanal, without any second thought, I'll go here.

I was trying to visit Kodai from last 1 year almost, I heard a lot about it. I love lush green mountain and the places where I can forget all the tensions and chill without my gadgets, in the arms of nature. I booked the woodhouse last month, this place is really awesome and isolated from the outer world and situated nearby natural sights like the lake and the Mountains draped in mist. if you want to relax from the hustle of busy metro life believe me this place is awesome. Cost justified trip. The homwstay staff was also humble, food was also good.....Planning to visit again next year.

It was an amazing experience.. starting from the place ambiance, host, food. Nice sit out at the front of Avantara with the view of Kodikanal lake along with lot of green trees where you can enjoy your morning coffee.. Lush of green lanes for your morning stroll. Avantara Homestay is the perfect place to stay and experience nature and the beauties of the mother earth. The place is just 1 km from Kodikanal lake and main bus stand. The hosts Arjun and Sreepriya are extremely helpful and we had a really a great time enjoying the warm hospitality and great food at the Homestay. Avantara Homestay is made of wooden lash with all modern amenities. It was very neat and clean. I could not find anything missing.. Looking forward to visit again for longer durations and I would also recommend people to to visit Avantara once to experience the hospitality. Thank you Arjun and Sreepriya once again for everything..We miss the Avantara Homestayand beauty of Kodikanal. Aryan my kid loved️️ the food (Big Burgur, idlly and dosa) and warm bed..which was specially preaprep for him..

I stayed with my wife at Avantara kodaikanal for 2nights.. Amazing view of lake and nature from our room itself.. Really enjoyed.. Rooms are neat and clean.. All services and amenities including delicious home made food are available.. Special thanks to Host Arjun and Sreepriya for taking care all of our needs..100percent recommended.. If you are on a trip to kodaikanal don't miss Avantara..

This fairytale woodenhouse is a cute ,lovely and nestled in gorgeous Lake Valley.Its secluded, with great views of the surrounding area. The property itself has a quirky self built charm to it. Half log cabin, half cottage. It felt a bit like camping but with great amenities!
