The quality of camping equipments and sleeping bags is very good. Didn't feel cold during camping despite the temperature dropping below 0, this was down to the superb camping equipments and sleeping bags.

So far I have had two treks with this firm, professional people, good quality and hygienic camping material. Planning to join them in the third one soon...

I did the Binog Hill trek with Back Country India on July 22, 2019. It was planned just a couple hours ago, when I saw their poster in a cafe in Mussoorie and the response was super prompt, accommodating and polite. We had the entire thing planned in a couple hours with Rajat understanding what I want and adjusting the plans accordingly. While I originally called them up for another trek, he advised me to go for this one and boy am I glad I listened to him. Next morning, at 7 sharp, I was picked up from my hotel by Peter, who I was lucky to have as my guide for the day since he mostly stays on trips and I caught him on a rare day back in Mussoorie. From start to finish he was extremely professional, polite and extremely sociable. I had a couple of apprehensions since I was going solo with a strange man to a deserted trek but at no point did I feel unsafe or threatened. Peter would talk if I wanted to and left me alone when I did not want to; he walked at my pace and answered all my questions. We had the entire hill to ourselves and the experience was surreal. Once on top, we ate a couple of fruits and just enjoyed the silence around. We talked about travel, what it means to different people and we talked about life. The weather in Mussoorie changes by the second and it made everything just that much better. The transport, food, trek, first aid, even water: everything was taken care of by BackCountyIndia and I simply had to show up. By price point, they are very much within budget for the experience you get. I’m going to come back soon and do other treks with them. I highly recommend checking them out when in Mussoorie. :)
