The place is filled with lush greenery which is very soothing. When visiting Shantiniketan one must visit here especially for the scenic beauty. There's a gallery where one can get varied items of starting from meticulous handicrafts to sarees although the pricing is a bit on the steeper side.

Rated 4 star due to only one reason. Shantiniketan is a place where people go to find some peace and tranquility which was heavily disturbed at this place by some picnic parties playing loud Bollywood songs. Else this place is good for shopping.

This a good place to find all traditional items from West Bengal. Saris, dress material, kurta, shirts, gift items, Kantha sari, stoles, kurta and cotton Kantha saris. Reasonable, decent collection. Go early to beat the afternoon rush. Close to Shantiniketan, Shonjhuri haat. Both places can be visited in one day.

Highly commercial place... Collections are really very good and sophisticated. Beautiful home decors, bags, hand crafted things are available here. But price is quite high. Quality of the products are also very good. Hand printed clothes and sarees are available here.

Go there for an exclusive experience. Apportion about 3 hours at least.
