The only Permanent Helipad of Bankura is located here at Karakdanga on Bankura bus stand to Rajagram road. It is a concrete flat platform surrounded by grass field having designer fence on all sides. The entrance great is really beautiful. The approach road is Pucca. Overall location is beautiful with lots of open spaces. All VVIP helicopters land here. There is no security arrangements.

এই হেলিপ্যাডটি বাঁকুড়া গোবিন্দনগর হাসপাতালের খুব কাছেই, মোটামুটি দক্ষিণ দিকে প্রায় দেড়/দু কিমি দূরে অবস্থিত। স্থানীয় নাম :- কারকডাঙ্গা। ছোট খাটো হেলিকপ্টার/চপার খুব সহজেই ওঠানামা করতে পারবে এখানে। হেলিপ্যাডটির চারপাশ লোহার মোটা নেট দিয়ে ঘেরা, একটি মাত্র গেট আছে উত্তর দিকে। চারপাশ কিছুটা ফাঁকা।
