Sri Madurai Muthu owns this centre from past 20 years. Earlier to it he was working in Victoria Hospital. Has a very rich experience in this field. A small nondescript shop in Chikkanna gardens, Shankarapuram, is doing a great service to the people with various kinds of orthopedic issues. Specially to children with foot deformities, like Clubfoot, curled toes, poly dactylitis, knock-knee etc, along with the required surgeries, correction-foorwear and prosthetics are very important and Sri Muthu caters to such customers. He also prepares custom-made belts for those having neck pain, back pain, knee pain, for abdominal size reduction etc. Makes calipers, braces, foot orthotics (devices to be inserted into the shoes), for various kinds of arthritis etc. His services have been recognized and rewarded by various National and International Orthotic Organizations. Citations and Certificates have been awarded. Earlier he used to visit patients in many cities, understand their need for orthotics, take specific measurements, come back to Bengaluru, work on those specifications and make splints and braces required and go back to patients to deliver them! Now that age is catching up, he requires the clients to visit him and get the prosthetics done for them. The working hours are 12 noon to 8pm. My heartful Kudos to this person and to the little shop where he works quietly and serves the needy! May God bless Sri Madurai Muthu.
