Having completed Level-1 of the ‘Musicianship’ course in Piano, I have just one regret – That I didn’t do this a few years ago. Nathaniel School of Music is helmed by some very experienced, talented, and above all, patient people who love teaching music as much as they love music itself. Regardless of age, talent or skill-level, every student who walks into the school is given detailed and thorough grounding in the basics of music theory – another plus for us. This theory-first approach to learning an instrument not only roots you as a musician but also leaves you with a greater sense appreciation for music of all kinds (including your own). I’d like to give special mention to Jason Zachariah, the driving force in all of Nathaniel’s endeavours, who despite his talent and skill level, makes himself as approachable and transfers his passion for music to everyone he teaches and works with. If you’re a fence-sitter (about joining the course) like I was a few years ago, I’d say think no more. There’s never a better time to learn music – a vocation that will stay with you for life.

I won't talk about how they teach or what they do in Nathaniel's coz it's all already mentioned my other alumni's reviews. What I do wanna talk about is why every musician needs to attend a music school like Nathaniel School of Music at least once in their life apart from the reason that Jason and other teachers are Really Good Musicians to be learning from. As a musician, it's never easy to pull off something great unless you are a Prodigy. No matter how hard you try, there will be a time when you'd feel that you aren't just living it up to the mark of the content put up by world-class artists, simply because they are more talented and also have excellent pieces of equipment to record and produce. When I was in Nathaniel's, I was constantly made to push my boundaries and try and expand my music knowledge as much as possible through Introduction to new concepts and techniques, new styles of music, Music appreciation, Ear training, Inspirational talks and mainly coz of other awesome budding musicians who play and learn along with you. Apart from that, you are also exposed to what it is like to be a Live performer and be a part of a Band which is absolutely vital to create a musical ensemble. From my personal experience, no matter how self-motivated you are, the external Push you get from learning with the professionals always goes a long way in building your musical interests and abilities. At the end of the day, you'll love the exposure you'd have got. It's been 4 months now since I finished my L1 course with Nathaniel School of Music and I am getting better every day. Still learning new things from this school even after all this time and getting support when needed. It's helping me keep my Inner fire alive and That for me is a clear winner.

Nathaniel is perfect place to learn music in Bangalore. I've tried few other classes as well but Nathaniel definitely worth the fame. You get to meet people with similar interest, jam with them and play live on stage, all in perfectly organised manner. From learning perspective, theory classes are very good. The way Jason interpret and breakdown music theory concept is very easy to understand. 10/10 will recommend.

Nathaniel school of music is a special place ! 4 months course is a great combination of theory, practical, practise, performance and a test at the end. It is really rare to find a trumpet teacher! Jason sir, not only teaches trumpet but also helps you relate it with other instruments and the theory, giving you a better perspective. The facilities and communication at Nathaniel are good as well. Wishing the team a great time ahead.

An amazing music school for any level of musician (beginner, intermediate or advanced). I have had an amazing experience here improving my skills on the guitar, eartraining, as well as learning music theory. The best part is that the school allows you to play with other musicians in as less as 4 months and also organizes a performance for the group. Just a great place overall

I had enrolled for batch number 78 for a 4 months course and I paid the entire fees of 23,600. Due to the lockdown they were doing virtual classes. I wasn't comfortable with that so, I requested to shift me to any other batch whenever they start taking classes in person even if it is after 6 months or a year. I've been trying to reach out for the last 2 months. Forget about the refund that will never happen but they should at least have some courtesy towards people by being responsive . This isn't professional at all.
