Pink Ribbon

Having grown up in a city that loved it's Parsi fare, bakeries and restaurants alike, I have been missing Parsi cuisine. I was ecstatic to come across the newly opened Navroz that had decent ratings and promised delicious fare. So I made the trip one evening and dropped in for dinner. I missed the restaurant as we drove by trying to find parking space but we were happy to eventually find it. The interior light at the entrance wasn't turned on but problem solved once we were in. The place is cozy and neat. The menu has some lovely dishes and we knew we had to try the cutlets - a mutton and a chicken each accompanied with a fresh salad; Then some Dhansak and Carmel rice to follow and we ended our meal on a sweet note with Laganu Custard .. the food was tasty and freshly prepared and tasted like good home cooked food. It's a tad bit expensive but all in all it was good. I'll probably drop in again.

Good food. Homely service, though a tad slow. All the egg dishes, the mutton cutlet, lagan ka bhonu, and chocolate mousse are some of the stand out dishes.
