Ordered a matka chicken that came in an actual earthen pot. The dish was really flavourful and perfectly spicy. Definitely recommend!

I was just wandering about looking for a supermarket when I saw a small artsy board saying Malgudi Days special pot recipe. I decided to check it out. As per the chef's special i ordered matka chicken curry and matka chicken Biryani. The rice is so flavourful and that you don't even need a piece to feel the taste. To add to it, the matka cooked chicken is perfectly succulent. It almost melts in your mouth. The matka chicken gravy is god level too! Spicy. But you can't stop eating it. (p.s. I have very low tolerance for spice so I find things usually an ounce more spicy.) While I was getting the food packed, also had their chai in a kullhad. reminds me of the IRCTC days... It was good too. Above all this, I must compliment the passion and vigour of the co-founders Prateek and Sumit. Good show guys!

What an absolute joke this restaurant is. We took away Paneer Butter Chicken and Karela Kofta, both were of absolute waste quality. Paneer was not fit for human consumption and Karela was disgusting. The rotis were Maida heavy and again not fit for consumption. All of us just threw away the food after having 2-3 bytes. Absolutely bad experience, never going back. Would actively tell people to not go.

Had dinner here with my wife during our recent Bangalore trip. We had matka chicken and rice. The preparation was excellent and reminded my wife of her Grandma's chicken curry. Highly recommend...
