The station consists of 2 platforms. On regular basis the 5 trains make a stop here coming all from Bengaluru ... And same 5 trains coming from hubbali/Chitradurga , shivamoga, arsikere, and 2 trains from Tumakuru going towards KSR BENGALURU make stop here .. The passengers who depart and arrive here are mainly college students and college lecturers who study and teach respectively.. Dr SMCE college is around 2Kms Away from Railway Station. The station is not well maintained yet but the work is going on to make this station good for passengers....
