Bhopal is blessed with one more beauty. It was nice to see such things in bhopal. Excellent water show with visual and sound effects draws everyones attention. If you are a Bhopali and never experienced this beauty, Then first go there and feel the glimpse of upper Lake with such an amazing water show. It starts at 6:00 in evening and shuts at 8:00.
Enjoyed Bhopal musical fountain show,the one much discussed in local news these days,indeed a worth watching show and the unique part was to see a documentary movie on water screen,amazing experience..I recommend it strongly..one of it's kind in the city... Great to see something like this coming to our Bhopal. Had seen similar shows before, only at Akshardham & Mysore's Vrindavan Garden. Rhythmic movements of water streams on the tunes of classical music,along with color changing lights. Set on the beautiful background of a small island known as 'takiya taapoo', and serene upper lake is definitely a treat for the eyes. *Ticket : INR 40 per person (free for kiddos below 5) *Show timings: 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm *Where to buy ticket: Counter is little before the main venue, on your left. *Parking: Ample space near the venue *Sitting Arrangement: medium sized shaded auditorium, seatings on floor (stairs). Each show spans for half an hour, with 20 minutes of fountain show and last 10 minutes reserved for Laser Show, based on India's freedom movement- as led by Mahatma Gandhi. This laser show couldn't impress much as it uses water spray as it's base for projected image and it was a windy day. So all we got to see was some distorted images.
