I loved the place, very lush green and spreads in large area. If you are tiger lover you must visit here bcs varieties of tiger you could see here. White tiger is the attraction point of this park. Very well maintained place, great cleanliness inside. Not allowing plastic material to take inside the zoo, promoting green environment. Once you entered Inside you won't get any food items there, so take some foods from outside and pack in paper envelope not in plastic. Lots of water coolers places inside you can refill your water bottles from there. Water boating is another fun activity which you can do it here.

Best Place to Bring in children, Hangout with friends & family . The Zoo itself is a Huge place spread In almost 400 hectares with vehicle safari . (Due to covid Safari's were Off when we were There) A Large Variety Of animals , birds , reptiles were kept & You can Take a Zoo Guide At a quite less fee For knowing Insights of zoo . I personally Liked A very Good small Lake fountain With A Lots of bird species. There is also facilities of Boating . There are some Good Fast foods & Small Hotels at Gate which are well maintaining The Hygine & cleanliness.

The picture of zoo infront of people is like animals caged and not free at all but that's not true...almost every zoological park in the world is working towards the protection of endangered species of animals... This park is also the same...it is also working towards the protection of endangered animals and the enclosures are not small they are huge for the animal inside it. Go there with your family or friends great time pass and also cheap tickets.

It is a beautiful place to bring your kids! The premises of the zoo is very neat and clean. Proper provision of drinking water is provided. Few stalls for eating and drinking have been provided outside the entrance of the Zoo. There are many beautiful animals in the zoo including Snakes, Elephants, Tigers, Monkeys.

It is a first zoo in India with the white tiger. The zoo is very big approx 400 hectare. As a say this zoo is very big so there is battery vehicles for visitors you have to pay 80/head . The entry cost is 50 rs . If you have luggage then you can keep it free of cost . If you visit a place I I am sure you love the . In the zoo many types of animals , birds you can see. You can enjoy the boating amd toy train.

Very huge area. Okay-ish place to visit. Especially during Covid they stopped the toy train and many facilities. The guide and the vehicle facility doesn't make any sense (Rs. 80 per head). You still have to walk so much. They only transport you on the main road. If you are looking for a 'variety' of animals then it's not the place. You'll find the same breed of animals distributed through a very large area. And after a while it gets really boring. (like so many crocodiles and lions) Nice boating experience though.

It is one of the good zoo in India. Good points 1.The safari is very good here. 2.You'll enjoy the rope way ride and boat ride. 3.Now they have free parking Bad points 1.Now it doesn't have many animals as it was earlier. 2.The cells for animals are well maintained. 3.Many cells are empty 4.The rules are good related to plastics and food items but should be made more strict. 5.The place should be made more cleaner and maintained well. Suggestions Don't use guides, as they will make you hurry and you may not enjoy your own time. Now they take 200 for 2 hours.

( নন্দনকানন )This is the best place in India to see White Tigers . Established in 1960, it was opened to the public in 1979 and became the first zoo in India to join World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) in 2009. It also contains a botanical garden and part of it has been declared a sanctuary. Nandankanan, literally meaning The Garden of Heaven,[1] is located near the capital city, Bhubaneswar, in the environs of the Chandaka forest, and includes the 134-acre (54 ha) Kanjia lake. Adult (More than 12 years of age) ticket price is \t50\t. Free entry for the children below 3 years. Jungle Safari temporarily closed Due to pandemic ( covid 19 ) .
