Very pleasant environment here, must place for the couple. Hotel, resort all are available; stay at least one day here.. Let yourself get detached from the boring city life and enjoy the nature; happy travelling.

Shanajhuri forest is a very beautiful place and really very peaceful. Weekly fairs are held here on Saturdays and Sundays. Handmade items are sold at very low prices. If the fair is not very big, it is a very beautiful fair, and honestly wonderful here bowels and dance are available
Good place to buy stuff available locally, but slowly and steadily it's becoming a commercial place. But mind it locals are still very welcoming towards the tourist
The place is quaint and ethnic. Mainly the sal and eucalyptus trees infest the forest. On Saturdays, the local market of handicraft items are sold. But owing to the huge tourist influx, the market is everyday open and that somehow detriments the ambience of calmness. The soothing mornings and the mystic sunset over the trees are really mesmerising. But the hotels are being being and the the spread of urbanization is the real jeopardy to this idyllic landscape.
Another name for recreation and rejuvenation among the nature with local folk tinge!
There is no word which can express my feelings. I was absolutely amazed by the beauty of the nature. And the shanibar er haat is also wonderful. Every bengali has an emotion on this location. Will visit soon.. ️
It's a beautiful place in shantiniketan. This haat opening on Saturday and Sunday, specially for weekends. Various handcrafts are available here.
Excellent place, you will have opportunities to mix with the local culture with dresses, ornaments, dance and even food. Don't dare to miss this place if you are in Shantiniketan.
