Bombay Theatre Company was founded by Raveesh Jaiswal in 2019 with the aim of doing independent theatre in Mumbai. He has a rich background in English & Hindi Theatre spanning over 10 years & has worked in the capacity of an actor, director and playwright. He has also acted in Television commercials of some prominent Indian brands; Surf Excel, Amazon, Britannia, MTR and also shared screen with Amitabh Bachchan in Kalyan Jewellers TV commercial. He has trained at Stagecraft Theatre, Nagpur & holds a certificate in Acting from Barry John Acting Studio, Mumbai and International School of Screen Acting, London. He also holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Management & Labour Relations from the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. Currently, he is employed with CEAT Tyres Ltd. as Manager - Corporate HR and has a rich corporate experience of around 5 years encompassing Factory HR, Corporate Communications, Employee Engagement and Employer Branding. He has been ably supported by his then girlfriend, theatre colleague, now his wife, Prachi Sharma in setting up the company. She is a practising Architect and an academician. She has over 4 years of experience in acting and holds her niche as a set designer and art director.
