I was a student of this school. I took admission in primary section in 1971 and passed out class10th in 1981. Those days I cannot forget till today. It was one of the best school during that time. Even today I can recollect the name of our teachers like Ashru madam, Maya madam, Bela madam etc. They were so cordial and amicable that I never had a thought of being absent from class. I had promoted to class fifth in 1975. Our headmaster in secondary section was MD Yiashin Ali sir and other teachers were Yudhistir Sahu sir. Tarak sir (angry man), Vivekananda Mukherjee sir, Sunil sir, MD Hamid sir, Shashank sir, Nishit sir etc. Never I could forget them. They were so tender and responsible towards students that today I can not set any example. Today I am 53 years old and took retirement from Indian Air Force but the memories of those days are still lingering in my mind. I wish a prosperous life for all students who are in this school. Jai hind, jai Bharat.

One of the good schools in south Howrah. Teachers are good. My grand mother Gita Khastagir was a teacher of history once upon a time. Ratio of teachers and students are good. Though, some improvement is required here.
