Good for kids
Excellent place to visit with family to know about Goan lifestyle during Portuguese times. Hindi Film Singham was shot in this Mansion. This place is well maintained and the audio tour is worthy.

Good experience in Goan lifestyle during Portuguese times. A well maintained place. There is a excellent collection of God Ganesh was collected by the Portuguese ruler .
A Brilliant place to visit. This star attraction is just a stones throw away from Big Foot. Tickets have to be purchaed from Big foot counter. They do not accept card of Paytm, it is only cash. So, please carry cash accordingly. Entry is priced at 100/- per adult and 50/- for child. The ticket price is totally justified as this is a better guided tour as compared to Big Foot. You get to see the tasteful constuction and collections of the Alvarez family. The antique beds, the old style bathrooms, the ball dance area, the walking sticks and hats stand etc. Everything is a feast to the eye. The tour will take approx 30-40 minutes. All the things kept are well explained and there were many things which were new for us. It was quite interesting to have a look at all of those.
This place actually belongs to a lawyer who lived here earlier..,.. But now his house become a museum as it has lots of valuable things from all over the world.. Which makes it unique.... Many people from different parts of the country and foreigners too visit here to explore the place... The Movie "Singham" Was shooted here... As Singham's house.....
Lovely old. Portuguese mansion. An eminent lawyer who lived a lavish life and his house hosts things of wonderful taste. Things from all over the world. Note able among these are a kerosene refrigerator, à safe room, old furniture, à massive dining room that will give you goose bumps. Well worth the 100 rupees entry fee. This Museum apart from the guide gives you a light and sound tour of this massive mansion
Portuguese era home. Really interesting to know how people in 16th century lived in Goa. Whatever ticket price but you need to pay extra rupees for Camera (digital, dslr). But its worth the price. Very nice experience.
Portuguese era home. The audio guide inside the house was nice & also they have separate guide in different rooms in house. You can easily follow along with story. Ajay Devgan's Singham & some other movies shooting done here.
Casa Araujo Alvares is a 250- year old mansion at Loutolim, Goa. It's located in near proximity to the Big Foot, which is why is worth visiting both on the same day.
