ICAR- Central Institute Of Fisheries Versova. One of the most recognized fisheries universities all in India. Acedemics- The acedemics is essentially well taught thats is why the unversity is ranked good for it and there is a good chance of a very great prospective future be it acedemics or in the private sector. The library is very big with full access to so many books and topics. Campus- The campus is well managed and the security quite good. The gardens as well as the buildings are very well managed. The hostels are not that maintained, but that can be ignored considering the constant hamering of the young students. Sports complex is quite good, well maintained and has good equipments. Mess- Well organised, well maintained with good tasty food which is a rarety in hostel messes.

Central Institute of Fisheries Education (C.I.F.E.) a deemed University situated in seven bunglow in Andheri (west) Mumbai .The Institute has very good serene campus with beautiful garden. The Institute is affiliated to Indian Council of Agricultural Research (New Delhi). The Institute impart different technical courses related to fishery sciences upto PhD level. Their are different advanced disciplines in fishery science where students can undertake admission under tutelage of experienced and qualified staffs. The Institute has very vast campus at two different locations . The Institute has auditorium for different conferences both national international level can have. The Institute provide facility to their students and visitors of library with very good collection of different books, periodicals and journals of their subjects and other related subjects as well.The Institute has one very important technical course Post Graduate Diploma in Fishery Science for different states employees and private students to get expertise in the field. This course is very applied and residential , students are very keen to get admission in this course.The Institute has different types of hatcheries for culture and breeding of different types of fishes,prawns,lobsters and crabs and many more in the campus. The institute has sufficient staff quarters for their staffs and director has very spacious bungalow with lush green surrounding in the campus.I was very fortunate to enrol in this Institute for my Ph. D. degree under then late director Dr. S. N. Dwivedi.
