Its a fully equipped Building Material testing Laboratory located in prime location OMR. It performs all sort of civil engineering related tests, Non Destructive tests, Consultancy and advisory Services to its customers. Overall Service is good.

I have worst experience with them in soil exploration service which was given to them. They are giving the work to their sub agency and not at all visiting the site during exploration and it seems there is no control over there. This was identified by me, because i was in the field full time during exploration with their sub agency. They were simply giving the report for 3 pages without table of contents and required information after completing the lab work. The report not containing computation of bearing capacity, settlement calculation, correction of SPT values. Moreover water table was not found at the site during exploration but they have given the water table at 6m below GL in report.

Simply I'm tell, Chennai Civil Tech Very Very Worst. We have received Geo-Technical Investigation Report. In this report few details are not revealed and incorporated. Report and result are cut and copy paste from other report. In Soil Profile, Presentation show the water table in 6 meter and Written report mentioned as Water table not found around the site. The report was not authorized by competent person i.e they are signing the document without their seal and technical qualification. Moreover the report does not contain their seal any ware from beginning to end of the report.
