First thing I would say is Its an "Excellent digital photography workshop" . Even though I was playing with DSLR for past 1 year, I was not aware what all things I can do with this and trust me, this workshop give me a new outlook to my Photography concept. I Joined , just to have a basic of Photography Tips , but when I completed , I feel that I know many things. More than a theoretical knowledge this give immense informative and had opportunity to do some thing hands-on from there itself....

When I was looking to learn how to use my Canon DSLR camera, I got to know about Milton Academy and due to my prior experience in some classes where they primarily focus only on theoretical aspect of a given subject, I expected the same to happen here too. Nevertheless I joined the classes since the location - Adyar and Timings (weekend classes) were convenient for me. But when I attended my first class it was refreshing change to realize that this is not one of your run-of-the-mill photography class. For starters, the trainer Rithvick is friendly, enthusiastic and very passionate about photography. His love for photography is contagious and his knowledge on the subject is astounding. He took us through the session in a manner that we completely understood the technical aspects of using a DSLR camera coupled with focused individual training for each participant. We also had outdoor sessions, where he practically explained how to click scenic and beautiful pictures. At the end of the session, I'm really happy with the knowledge acquired and the training procedure and the trainer. Initially I just wanted to learn to use my camera but now I'm in love with photography. I would definitely recommend Milton Academy for anyone who is looking to learn photography, its complete value for money!

After 4 weekends of attending Rithwik & John’s Basic Photography course in Sept 13, I realized that they have made a technically difficult subject into something very simple. If I have to summarize the 8 days of workshop - It's just about balancing the relationship of ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture (easier said than done) and with that I move away from full Auto mode totally. Rithwik has a great way of explaining the complicated and technical side of the subject into a clear and easy way of understanding it. The small class size with plenty of interaction is another bonus. I now have a lot more confidence and inspiration than before I went on the course and am really excited about building on what I learnt. If you want to learn more about Photography, who respects your money and time, I would say Milton Academy tops the list. The weekend 3 hour classes turned out to be not only a smooth sailing but also an enjoyable 2 morning outings. For the fellow photographers – This may sound crazy – I was in an impression (read arrogant) that I knew photography well before, but this work shop shattered it with simple and effective way which you can only experience with. Thank you very much Rithwik & John for building the confidence and open many possibilities within me to move forward with photography.

Waw! Hands behind those beautiful clicks; I always admired them and wanted to get hold of that skill set to handle picture machines. Visualising is the first part but its captivity is more important. I was confused where to start until one of my colleague recommended Milton Academy, Chennai. Starting with Mr. Rithwik’s workshop on basic photography, the program got just the right kickoff. The session was packed with information and fun. “Mindset first and skill set will follow” was the essence of keynote delivered by Mr. Rithwik. He explained the phases of evolution from an admirer to a professional photographer. Classes were mostly case studies which helped me understand the effort and dexterity behind each photograph. An effective session worth attending – must go place for passionate photographers who would want to learn improvise photographic skill set.
