This ferry ghat is used by people to go from pathar pratima to ramganga and conversely. This is only 200 meter width river. This is a very busy area. Many people pass through all the day. They charge Rs. 2 for single person. For cycle they charge Rs. 4 and for motor cycle they charge Rs. 10 to 15 rupees. This is very high cost for small distance travel. In twenty first century why people use ferry ghat. People need bridge between pathar pratima to ramganga. People need basic amenities. People from pathar pratima can not be deprived from their basic amenities. Local government should try make a bridge between pathar pratima and ramganga. In ferry ghat it takes up to 30 minutes per pass. If there was bridge it only take 5 minutes per pass. Every person is losing 25 minute per pass. If they invest this time in work it will benefit the gdp of india. Local government should take responsibility to establish a bridge between pathar pratima and ramganga. This rural area in sundarban need better amenities.
