Place is one of the official workplaces of Customs department of Government of India. Facility of import export clearance is available here. Port is maintained by CWC. This is not a very high-tech port. Environment is quite polluted too. Dirty surroundings is a major concern here.

Custom office staff are very rude because they have the power of that chair they are ruling. Most of the government employees are like that. The reasons may be because: 1.Their job is secure, unlike private people 2.Most government organisations do not have the yearly performance evaluation process 3.If Government employees have some demand, the unions will protest and they will secure it through unions, so they feel like they are on top 4.Important thing : There is not much scope to improve the field knowledge, so they have to be rude to avoid further questions 5.People cant provide feedback, as the feedback process is not properly advertised 6.They dont have to put extra efforts like that of private organisations, just the assigned work and time is enough. Goverment employees are mannerless.isse acha to private jobs hi krlo.manner to rehti he kisi k lie.
