Great backwater experience. Ferry can take 2 wheelers and possibly a small hatchback. But getting a sedan on board would probably be an adventure

Beautiful spot . The was tiny but strong to carry atleast 5 scooters to the other side of the lake. The people are friendly. The cost of transportation is nly 5rs per person

Pizhala doesn't have a happy story... This ferry is an evidence to it. It's an island.Their Bridge construction is still "progress" since 2013. Lot of people suffering in this place for transportation, Education. The flood recently they had wasn't ended up well to island lifes.
