I just happen to have only their cutlets, it was really good though a bit expensive. Don't get concerned about the decor of the place, you will definitely love the cutlets. Today when I went to this place, I felt it is currently being run by one person, so get ready for slight delay in serving, That person was very friendly too, he was ready to give me credit for some amount since we both were out of change though we never knew each other and I have no clue when I would be visiting here again. P.S. I think I am going to frequent this place whenever I am around that location only because of the good food and the fine courtesy shown by that gentleman..

Nice place to try... I went with my cousins suggestion to taste their cutlets... It has quantity 1 plate consists of 2 PC and beetroot sauce.. For that plate it's rs 50...but when we got there,we had their suggestion and tried their chicken omelette... For me it was the first time I am trying and I liked that... For that it is rs100...go try kozhikodens...

They have a mighty history. At a time when in India, it's considered sacrilege to eat out, The French Bakery & Restaurant opened shop, that too non vegetarian kind, promoting dishes that were supposed to be had with a fork, spoon and knife! It's not easy to break with tradition and roots to take up something as bold as they did way back in 1932! The French Bakery & Restaurant was the happening place for the bold and the trendy then! They're famous for their mutton cutlets and liver fry. They also have a very special beet root sauce. One of the few remaining spots of an ancient Calicut. The have innovated a dish called chicken-omelette. Very next to the restaurant is an old house belonging to the deceased Congress veteran supremo - Shamji Sunderdasji - that was once visited and stayed in by Gandhiji. The restaurant may do well with renovation. Slightly offset and opposite to it is the original fire and rescue department of Calicut.

One among the oldest restaurants in Calicut which is still serving traditional delicious food. Though it looks a bit old , the quantity and quality of food served is good. Liver fry is a must try. Evening snacks include cutlet & chicken Omlet
