A sure sign of unsustainable development. I really pity the people living around this dump. Of course, the dumping has since stopped, but now soomeone else far away from Chennai would be made to suffer. Swachh mission has to have more tooth and make everyone responsible for the waste he/she generates. 29-02-2020: Good to note that biomining of the garbage has started. Hope to see a fully restored lake in about twelve months.
