It is 7-8 min walking distance bus stand.for seniorcitizensit is quitedifficult to walk through the narrow road.but one can get toto or rickshaw..

Passengers 15 - 25 Two Wheeler 80 for shipping, 60 for portage. Although very risky as there is no ramp to boat. Need to go few kilometers to explore the significant Scenic beauty.

From Geonkhali you can go to Nurpur in 24 Pgs South and Gadiara in Howrah. I went by 1.10 lonch from Geonkhali to Gadiara.
