Folks from Get Friday have been very helpful with all my admin tasks. I was skeptical as to how this was going to work, because as entrepreneurs it's easy to think no one can do what you do. The trick is to document the repetitive work and as soon as I documented the work, it was easy to turn it over to Get Friday. Krishna has been especially very diligent in the process. Even though most tasks are repetitive, some nuances in variables especially during the month end and year end - he was able to identify and follow through with little or no direction. Getfriday was such a nightmare. I'd recommend avoiding them at all cost. Either my experience was incredibly unlucky (1% chance), or the majority of other reviews are either coming from internal pressure on their employees or are paid. I'm open to the possibility of having been extremely unlucky, but... I'm not usually one to complain about work ethics, usually very understanding, but my experience with Getfriday was unbelievably frustrating. I lost time, money, a great deal of opportunity and peace of mind because of their service. I gave the Virtual assistant a simple task of sorting through messages as I was preparing for an important meeting for the fate of my 5 year old daughter. The task was simple and was avoided at every step. Even though I paid them a premium for accomplishing tasks on a timely basis, they kept pushing the deadlines back further until they finally told me that the hours I had bought were no longer valid. To this day, I have received absolutely no work for the tasks I hired them for and lost this opportunity while having to deal with unwilling hired help. They are refusing to give me my money back, or any of the work I paid them for. I really needed help sorting documents for my 5 year old daughter. They just stole that money and left me more stressed than before. I would stay away from this company at all cost.

I've been so thankful for GetFriday. I learned about them years ago from Tim Ferriss' 4HWW and I've been using them for a couple years now. I've got a virtual assistant, then I've also got a billing team person managing my quickbooks and I've also used some of their programming services. Communication can be difficult, and it can be hard to find someone with all the knowledge you need, but my VAs have learned a lot and I cannot imagine going back to doing everything myself that they are handling for me. It's great to have a support staff when you're a solo-preneur and small business owner. I highly recommend GetFriday. The only reason I do a 4 star instead of a 5 is just because of small communication issues at times. This is an Indian company, so there are difficult moments when it comes to explanation of tasks. So it takes a little more effort on my part, but the value is still very high.
