Good place to learn about history and past culture... Gives a peek inside little things changed and how we have developed with technology.... Must visit if you like history and lean towards learning our culture and traditions.... Was interesting.. Nothing out standing but intriguing...

3 types of small museums are there. - about wheels ( carts, charakas , palanquins etc across ancient India) - farming tools, pottery used in ancient Indian people - musical instruments etc Even though the collection is maintained well, Entry fee too expensive. 150 per person per room. Overall for 3 combined, it's 500. You get a free guide. But that minimal information they give can be written on a board itself.

Wonderfully collected and curated collection of history. This place has guides who are well trained and they take you back in time to the things used before in Goa. Wonderful collection and we'll maintained.

Good collection of all the historical items. Well maintained and displayed in a systematic manner. Knowledgeable guide to provide the explanation of each item..

It is a nice museum worth a visit by people who love antiques and a peek into the past legacy. A quiet and clean building houses thousands of old artefacts which have been meticulously restored. The entry is paid and includes a guided tour. There are three parts to the museum and ticket for each part can be bought separately. A comprehensive ticket for full museum is also available. It takes about an hour and a half to have a leisurely tour of the whole museum.

Preserving the past to enrich the future. This is a private collection of historical artefacts by Mr.Victor. it's a big museum in terms of items displayed. Whole museum is divided into 3 sections. Like chakra section- in which you can see vehicles of the past. Different typy of carts used since ages. Similarly Goan history, pooja items, hospital tools and equipment by the people of generations back. Overall it was a nice and enriching visit.

The result of the passion of one single person. Set up in a quiet corner, it is one of the most beautiful museums I ever saw. From bullock carts to tongas, from cooking utensils to garden implements, from cradles to fenni making pots, from jaggery making machines to Doctor's necessities it is an awesome exhibition. Not to be missed

Lately I have been trying to explore whats in Goa, and I came accross this place using Google Map. So i travelled 48 kms from Mapusa for about 1:30hrs. Was is worth? Personally I found it worth a visit as it showcases some antique artifacts from yesteryears and the complimentary guide it a topping on cake with the entry fee of 300. Things that could be improved: personally I think the museum should tune well with its name, meaning I wish the owner of the place with no doubt has given importance to Goan pre/antique things but would really love to see more of Goa from those years. Sharring some of my pictures from the visit.
