It is a very beautiful place,magnet point of nature beauti lovers
like
UNESCO world heritage site. A must visit place in Assam. Major portion of One horned Rhinos in the world is here. You can visit inside the park by elephant safari or jeep safari. 6 people can travel in jeep, and I was a solo traveler, so I waited near the jeep safari counter for 30 minutes so as to get 4-5 members group to travel. Come here in season. People in Assam are very good and cooperative.
Forest greeny area , elephant ,rhino and other animals are proud of this forest. Very nice palace to jungle safari.loved it.

Kaziranga National Park is a very rich biodiversity park enriched with large and varied wild animals, birds, reptiles and plants. It is very accessible with roads and nearest airport is Roraia, Jorhat and Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati. A large number of resorts, hotels, restaurants and lodges are also available. Park is open from October to April for the general visitors every year. Pre booked Elephant safari and Jeep Safaris provide much needed close views of the park. Endangered One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopards, wild buffalo, Indian wild Elephants and various deers are large animals among others. Kaziranga suffers huge losses of animal lives and habitat due to illegal encroachments, interstate armed poachers and flood every year. Great improvement is a much need to upgrade even the basic amenities of the forest guards here apart from saving and protection of the park land area and its wildlife from every part of the society, nation and the world.
