Words fail to capture the sense of gratitude I feel for Dr. Salil! From almost the verge of collapse, to coming off dialysis - that’s been my mum’s journey. Dr. Salil says it was God’s will and his Grace that worked. Dr Salil Jain is an extremely knowledgeable & friendly personality. We contacted him at Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon for my mother's ( Lakshmi Devi Jindal) treatment for kidney disease as both the kidneys had stopped working. Dr Salil investigated the whole case and suggested dialysis. With his treatment both the kidneys started functioning within a week's time. Despite his busy schedule Dr Salil had given full attention to my mother & provided full comfort to our family . Even after discharge he attended to our queries patiently & supported us with utmost care. He is well respected by his fellow doctors within Fortis & outside. Dr. Salil Jain deals with patients who are in advanced stage of their illness, often ones which has very tricky treatment or only management. It demands an exceptional professional skill which most certainly he possesses in abundance. But what sets him apart, for me, is the way manages to motivate patients to be invested in the treatment and to follow the course of control that’s just as critical as the treatment. Something that all docs prescribe but only few manage to instill. I along with my elderly meet him very infrequently but right from the moment of clear recognition of the patient and to the absolutely unhurried consultation, to discussing the treatment course with simplest explanations and better results in the end of it all make visits to Dr. Jain far more happier and far far more reassuring. And that counts for a lot.
