It is a place for neuroscience and neuroscience-related research. I had a nice and memorable experience when I came here as a TWAS-DBT PG scholar and the faculty are always ready to impact and share their experience. Their staffs are welcoming and professional in their conduct. I learnt so may scientific neuroscience protocol such as molecular technique, electrophysiology recording in rodent, stereotaxic surgery, IHC and effective animal handling. The environment is serene, clean and the landscape is good. In term of scientific research, it can be compared to world renowned research institute.

Having benefited from the CV Raman grant, I was welcomed at the National Brain Research Centre. It was a very enriching experience for me not only scientifically where I could learn mammalian cells culture but also on the cultural level where I discovered a very hospitable people with very good meals. One of the finest research and probably the best in Neuroscience going on here under the supervision of very supportive and interactive scientists. A really beautiful campus with lot of wild animals and birds coming from the surrounding forested area. Food quality is awesome. And above all, the ideal place and a great opportunity to do \good science in the lap of mother nature\.

Faculty and the students has a friendly relationship. Apart from the research you will also find a lot of extra curricular activity in the campus to enhance your intelactual ability. The faculty of NBRC also conduct several public lecture to spread awareness in local community about Neuroscience. The accommodation facility in the campus is one of the best in India for the students. Standard of the hostel mess is five stars because it is mantained by the students.
