The company is the investment manager to HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Fund 1 (HCARE-1) and HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Fund 2 (HCARE-2), both SEBI registered Category II Alternative Investment Funds. HDFC Capital is also the sponsor of the H@ART (HDFC Affordable Real Estate Technology) Program. HCARE-1 and HCARE-2 combine to create a US$1.1 billion platform targeting affordable and mid-income residential projects in India’s leading 20 cities. The objective of the H@ART Program is to create an ecosystem of innovation and engagement with all stakeholders of affordable housing i.e. developers, technology companies, technology VC funds, innovators and academia. The program seeks to mentor, partner and invest in real estate technology companies that drive break-through innovations and efficiencies within the affordable housing ecosystem.
