They transport 2 wheeled vehicles from one end to the other along with the people and the fare is very reasonable. They charge rupees 6 per person. Sometimes they overload , which sometimes might turn into disaster.
Beautiful place. Ferries are frequently available. Bikes, cycles are also allowed in ferry. Locality is good but distance from the station. It is far from NH 16 kolkata-mumbai highway. No vessel service available here for cars. Bikers are also use this route for ferry.
