Osmania University established in 1918 named after its founder, Osman Ali khan,the seventh nizam of Hyderabad who brought the university in existence.It is the 7th oldest in the country, and third oldest in South India. The university has a campus of around 1600 acres divided across different colleges and that too in the middle of the city with such a huge campus. Everytime I go through the OU road the feel is so amazing with the whole area covered by Greenary and multiple of Trees across the whole university. OU arts college building looks superb with its old sculptures which are a century back and the whole construction outside and inside is laid very innovatively and it is also a huge building which is amazingly designed. The place looks more beautiful in the morning, you better visit in the morning by 6.30am to 7.30am. It's a pleasant place
I had a very good experience in this university. Their faculty is one of the best in Telangana, the architecture is beautiful and the ambience is phenomenal.
The O.U. is one of the largest university systems in the world with over 300,000 students on its campuses and affiliated colleges. Faculties are very nice and really interested to teach their students.
It's very big university, a large campus, pleasant surrounding. It's my first visit to this place. Regarding studies I don't have any ideas, hence can't give review on it. If you visit Telangana definitely visit Osmania University. Go around 3pm n spend time till 6pm. You can go with family too. Actually it's a passway for other places many vehicles enter n go to other areas through this campus.
It's an magnificent gigantic structure. A historic monument. Though the renovations were made negligence in attending certain places is glaringly visible. The maintenance of the building is at its worse. Wall patches in the corridor are shabby and reflect the missing aesthetic sense of the caretakers. Lawns are maintained well.
