The headquarters of the Telangana state pollution control board. Expert appraisal committee meets out of this office for granting environmental clearance and consent for establishment and consent for operation. The monitor existing industries adherence to conditions. They also monitor pollution levels for air, water, soil and noise in the state. Nice building too. But as always, govt. Employees are next to useless.

Nobody from this department helping public in resolving issues of jawahar nagar dumping yard unable to understand the reason. Even after so many complaints from dammaiguda public the officials are least bothered and no action has been taken against dumping yard. This is really pathetic.

It's very much evident that people are severely suffering from the pollution (water & air) caused by Jawaharnagar dumpingyard. The government & GHMC officials are not at all responding. Many compliments raised to PCB, but of no use. I feel this department is good for nothing.

The worst ever pcb in India I must say. No follow up and no action taken on jawaharnagar dumpyard Ramky Enviro. The smell that is released from this dumpyard is so pathetic that people living nearby face so much of problems while breathing. The ground water is polluted to nearby areas upto 5km radius. The capping of dumps have shown no results in managing the wastes of whole HYD. There are no other sites located yet for dumpyard. The jawaharnagar dumpyard have already reached its saturation point. But the pcb is least bothered to take any action against Ramky and ghmc. Worst to worst scenarios will come up in near future due to this negligence. I hope any higher authority take the initiative to protect the surrounding environment including lakes, greenery, animals and moreover humans living.
