Indian Minorities Economic Development Agency, a section 25 not for profit company, registered in 2015 in New Delhi, is working on the vision of connecting youth to opportunities by multiplying community level processes through building leaderships, empowering civil society groups and creating networks, executing programs for entrepreneurship, skills development and livelihood security by facilitating partnerships across the public and private organizations and creating synergies for economic opportunities for the youth and empowerment of economically weaker sections among minorities in India. Mission Facilitating the minority community youth to avail opportunities in terms skills, training, entrepreneurship, education, jobs, employment and self-employment, business startups and businesses scaling, Governmental programs and schemes by leveraging upon the potential and powers of the markets, institutions, Governmental programs, technologies, and partnerships. Working areas 1. Jobs: Sharing of vacancies, assistance in enrolling with job portals, employment exchanges, training and coaching 2. Skills Training and Capacity Building: Organizing workshops by collaborating with various agencies and institutions 3. Entrepreneurship Development: Onsite training, project reports, bank finance and equity support, hand- holding, marketing support by linkages and online portals etc. 4. NGOs: Support in establishment of NGOs, legal approvals, scaling up, funding support, opportunities sharing 5. Education: Sharing admission notices, scholarships, coaching, assisting in admissions, securing financial support, bank loans for courses. 6. Businesses: Assistance in start-ups, securing agencies, enterprise development, assistance in loans, scaling up, tender sharing, marketing support by linkages and online portals etc. 7.
