I met Joe through a google search and its my honest and sincere pleasure to recommend Joe’s Drum School. Me and along with my two kids aged 11 & 9 have always wanted to learn the drums and we were looking out for someone good to teach us the same. We’ve been really lucky to have found Joe! Its been about three months now since we are training under Joe and I can tell you that if you have the passion and love to learn the drums, Joe has more than double the passion and love to teach you the same. They say learning is a lot of fun if you have a great teacher, Joe is just that!. He has the perfect amount of patience, passion, perseverance and of course humour too that makes learning so much fun. He is extremely practical in his approach and understands how to structure the course for you in the best & easiest consumable way. And Joe has an amazing set up too! A lovely cozy studio that’s perfect to learn. if you are looking to learn the drums, doesn’t matter where you are located - give him a call and you won’t regret it :)

While my 6 yr old son wanted to learn drums and we were looking across Bangalore, luckily we got to know about this school and we never made a second taught. Initially my son was passionate on learning drums, later his interest amplified because of his Master (Joe) Highly talented young teacher who affords one on one classes and the best part, understands students potentials and teaches accordingly, Its just been two months and we are extremely impressed the way our son who was literally not knowing anything about drums and all the way knows to play. For beginners I would be glad to recommend this is the right place to start with.

My tutor (Joe Jacob) is highly skilled as both a drummer and an instructor. I couldn’t help but realise after my very first lesson that he’s passionate about what he does and keen to pass on the knowledge. I had been thinking about taking drumming lessons for some time, and I am so pleased I finally did it. Joe is a brilliant teacher. Let me tell you why. While his grasp of the technical aspects of music and drumming are absolutely astounding, his sensitivity to the need of the song/piece of music, is so much more nuanced and persuasive. I trained with Joe to learn how to play to a gospel/church setting. As a self taught drummer, who mostly played metal, there were so many basic ideas and concepts, such as dynamics, rudiments, note values, etc. that I had completely missed out on that Joe patiently taught me. Knowledge of these concepts have changed the way I approach drumming. His versatility as a drummer informs his ability to instruct students in a wide range of genres. My biggest regret is that I didn't start training with him when I was younger, but I'm still so glad that I took that step. Thanks for everything, Chetta. :) So, if you're looking for a teacher who loves what he does, and has a hands on approach to teaching the drums, better call Joe!
He is best drum instructor especially for young learners. Have personal experience sending my child to other places but after Joe’s classes , I realised that there are lot of techniques and exercises that you have know to eventually to become comfortable with drums. My son absolutely looks forwards to his classes.
