Jog falls is the best place to see the water falls in Karnataka. It was one of the most beautiful place in the Karnataka. This was situated on sharawathi river. Fully hilly and ghat section roads. Really awesome place to see jog falls. Must and should you visit this place.
Well organized place with viewing place, restaurants, drinking water, parking, hotel all marked. The Government guest house (I'm guessing) on the Northern side looks great
It s big fall's and view is nice and there is another entry nearby where there are steps 1400 from top to bottom and we can reach to ground and see the falls from ground level but it's very hard to claim back in steps and if it's not a season time the water level will be low so plan during season time (August June July )
This place is a good one time visit. However the best time to visit this falls would be during the monsoon...One can also book the Karnataka State Government Resort which is a lovely place for night stay.....if you found this helpful then please hit the like button. Thank you..
I went to see this falls with my friends during March. In this season the water level is low but it is worth seeing this falls as the view is awesome. We can go down by 1400steps to see the water falls at the ground level. It is highly recommended to see this falls during monsoon season.
One must visit the Gerusoppa, Jog Falls in the peak rainy season, ideally get wet while enjoying the eternal beauty of the water fall, the noise, the mist, the chill weather and offcourse, tasty bhajji and chai of the KSTDC restaurant.
Excellent waterfalls. Water is less now still it's beautiful. I plan again to come next year rainy season. The last stretch of the road when you are coming from Gokarna is fully in the forest, you will enjoy the drive. Lots of eateries available near to falls.
