Best place to enjoy chatpata .. lassi tea

Food is good but the prices are not worth the quantity. Seating and Ambiance is just isn't there. The Pav bhaji was good, but the quantity was very less for the price. Lassi was the best thing I had here, both salty jeera lassi as well as the sweet Lassi were very good. The biggest problem I have with this place is how the seating is. They have closed off part of the shop and we had to sit outside on rickety chairs near the stoves. I don't really mind that but for the kind of place it is, prices don't make sense. This place is for you if: 1. You want good street food. 2. You are looking for takeaway/ quick snack. This place is not for you if: 1. You are looking to sit down and eat with a big group. 2. You are looking for reasonable prices with ambiance.

The waiting time is something that tests your patience. For a plate of kadi kachori we waited almost 45 mins, that too when there weren't many people present. Taste is good but ya if you've time to spare then a good place else avoid it. Not for 'quick' bites.

Looks can be deceptive. When you look at a glistening dish, one would assume it to be tasty. But not here in Kachori cafe, no wonder their rating in Zomato & Google is below 4. Wouldn't recommend w.r.t taste , cost and quantity. Their price to quality and quantity ratio can be termed as pathetic. Dishes ordered: Cheese vada pav, pani puri, dabeli and 2 cups of Kulhad chai. Cheese vada pav: looked like a cheese burger at first, tasted bland. I bet a Udupi kitchen does better vada pavs than kachori cafe. Pani puri: worst ever seen nd tasted. The sizes of puri, ever disgusting. How the heck they can even call it as a puri and put it on their menu Dabeli: the filling was too overdone and overloaded. The sev topping smelled yuck. Kulhad chai: nothing but we just tasted and smelled the unseasoned Kulhad more than the Chai. M pretty sure the clay cups weren't seasoned before being used and hence smell of the raw Kulhad overpowered whatever taste the tea had. Their menu card and menu collages on the wall carries different price for the same item. Eg: cheese vada pav on their menu costs 60, while the collage inside the shop shows 70 or vice versa for some other items. To top it all they impose CGST and SGST

Okay so the first thing you will notice is the most wierd seating arrangement. They have kept table and chair on a slope and the moment you sit on chair and you will feel you are falling down the slope. I happened to drop few food items due to lack of my balance on chair. Who tortures customers like this? Even if you give me world's best food on this seating, I would unapologetically reject it. Coming to actual food, few things I liked : chole bhature (not authentic look but good taste), masala chai was enjoyable. Fresh juice were really good. Worst pani puri - plz avoid (its an insult to pani puri). Onion kachori were okayish. They look like they have decent chefs but they are really behind in game to make customers feel welcomed. And this ends my unbiased review and you deserve no more than 2 stars. Oh did I forgot to say they are really expensive for similar establishments.Hope you fix these problems and I will be happy to come back to review again. Cheers.

We ordered only normal tea and that's the Worst tea I have ever tasted. They charged 53 which is not even worth for 10rs. Road side chair wala is far better
