All common people should see it especially the civil engineering students should see it. The tunnel is constructed by Sri M V Visvesvaraya a great engineer of the country. The tunnel is 150 meter below the ground level and it is 2.8 KM long and 80 meter wide in angel. Should see the tunnel when water is not flowing it's a great construction
This architectural and engineering Marvel should be well preserved and information regarding this should be well documented and made available to all.. the entrance to the tunnel is littered with liquor bottles and trash and looks like z haven for such shady activities \u200d️
Vishweswaraiah canal enter to tunel about 3 k.m. It is not a turist attraction place. People who vist kere thonnur of pandavapura taluk can drive here
