This is one of the oldest shops in Chandni Chowk at the corner of paranthe wali gali. Famous for its Dal Biji and Aloo Lacchha. The level of spiciness can be met to suit your palette. Do buy these namkeens when you visit Chandni Chowk next.

Almost 160 years old shop servicing Puri and also and chachoris and loads of various varieties of sweets and nankeen, The food was ok but hygiene left A LOT TO BE DESIRED. IVE shared and uploaded some videos that there were numerous flies which were buzzing around on top of the food inside the shelf where the food was displayed. Pointed it out to the attendants but they had a chalta hai attitude. Hense doesn't matter how famous or old it is, hygiene is a top priority, if such was the attitude on the display counters, for forbid what must have been going on in their kitchens. I will avoid it like a plague. And suggest everyone to do the same.

Kanwarjis Sweets is part of the fabled Delhi 6 street food zone termed as the 'Paranthe Wali Gali', literally intending to a lane of deep fried breads called 'paranthas'. It is located at the very opening of the 'Gali', on the main road, a stone throw away from the Chandni Chowk crossing. It offers a variety of North Indian street foods, but the main item being the paranthas, and the numerous types of sweets.
