Really nice place to chill with your family. Need to cross a waterway to get there. No shops nearby. Peaceful and serene. Evening football matches. Old remains of Tsunami affected houses. A place perfect to spend time with both family and friends. Waves can be aggressive and no coastal guards, so not safe to go too far into the water. Anyway a perfect spot to spend holidays.

Superb calm and quiet beach situated near to the kattil temple. Beware that the sand at these areas contains illuminate which is radioactive so take care while you handle it coz it cause issues. It is next to the famous kattil temple so mostly all devotees coming to temple makes a visit to this beach.

This place is famous for the temple of godess originally for the fisherman's community later more and more people started having faith. There is a tree with lots and lots of bells, people tie a bell with a wish and untie when it is fulfilled also prepare Pongal. This place is located at the sea shore. To reach hear you have a free of cost ferry taking you across a small lagoon. The beach is beautiful and scenic. Please do not think of any morden tourism facilities here. In my visit I found one highly disappointing thing. This shore is rich in titanium ore and government is excavating. The deadly stuff is the acid treatment water is released back in the sea turning the water appearing yellow. You just can't take a dip in sea water. Highly and deadly pollution.

A beautiful island easily reachable only by ferry mostly thronged by religious people rather than tourists
