Apart from the traditional tribal architecture and galleries. The Naga Heritage Village also has a World War II Museum located within the complex in Kisama, near Kohima. It is a well curated museum with numerous artifacts and illustrations on the Battle of Kohima and also on Indian National Army. It probably would have been better to visit during the time of the festival when members of the various tribes would have been present and we were able to see the performances that they put on along with exhibits of artwork, carvings, sculpture, etc. Nevertheless it was lovely to wander around undisturbed and use our imagination.
